The British department store offers religious, Muslim fashion – and cooperates with the well-known label Aab.
In May of this year, the fashion house Debenhams wants to sell Islamic clothing in its 14 international stores in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The products will also be available in the UK at Debenham’s London flagship store on Oxford Street, as well as in Birmingham, Manchester and Leicester, reports the Independent.
The ready-made products include headscarves, tunics, turbans and coats. The department store wants to cooperate with the established fashion label Aab.
British department store chains have already offered “modest fashion” in the past. Marks & Spencer had Burkinis on the shelves and John Lewis Hidschabs.
