The International Halal Products Exposition 2008 will be held on August 14th to 17th this year at the International Convention Centre in Berakas. The exposition is a prime event that highlights the Halal Food Industry with the participation of both local and foreign businesses. The event manager, Monday signed two international strategic partnership agreements – the Official Online Partner, DagangHalal.com and the Official Expo Journal, Halal Journal. SUNLIT Advertising signed on behalf of the manager and was represented by the company’s Executive Director, Dato Paduka Haji Danial bin Haji Hanafiah.
Representing DagangHalal.com was its Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Yap Yun Sin and Halal Journal was represented by the Director of KasehDia, Awang Nordin bin Abdullah. The signing was witnessed by the Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Pengiran Hajah Mariana. With the signing, the promotion of the Exposition 2008 will thus be more effective. The Official Expo Media Partner is Radio Television Brunei.
Speaking to RTB, the Sales and Marketing Manager of the managing firm, Mr. Jason Tee said that for this year’s event, the firm has made a comprehensive preparation and have signed up with DagangHalal.com which is one of the websites dealing with the halal issue and forged up a partnership with Halal Journal which is a bi-monthly publication dedicated to the global Halal industry. He said that definitely there would be a few more partnerships to be signed in the later stages after the day’s signing. The organisers are targetting at having at least 300 booths filled and are working to attract more foreign exhibitors and traders to come to Brunei for a better event this year.
