Event Overview
Following the previous Malaysia’s Consumer Month, Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism once again held the National Consumer Month Celebration with DagangHalal as the co-organizer. The event was held on 1st to 3rd of June 2012 and took place at Tesco’s car park area, Semenyih, in the state of Selangor. With the slogan “Hak Pengguna Tanggungjawab Anda†(Consumer Rights are Your Responsibility) the ministry aims to educate consumer on their rights with focusing on the ‘New Consumer Group’. This event was officiated byY.B. Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob, Minister of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism on 3rd of June 2012.
More than 50 exhibitors from various Halal products manufacturers and Halal service providers took part in this event which started from 1st -3rd June 2012 from 9.00am – 10.00pm at car park area of Tesco Semenyih, Selangor.

– 90 exhibitors (40 DagangHalal exhibitors and 50 government and NGO exhibitors)
Attendance:
– More than 50,000 visitors attended in 3 days
DagangHalal Booth Activity
DagangHalal occupied a 6m x 6m booth. The presence of DagangHalal were mainly to educate consumers on what is DagangHalal and Halal e-Marketplace. Besides visitors whom registered were given merchandises as a gifts.
