Event Overview
Following the previous Halal Certification Bodies Convention, Halal Hub Division of JAKIM once again held the 4th Halal Certification Bodies Convention with DagangHalal as the co-organizer. This convention was held from 13th to 14th of September 2012 took place at the Marriot Hotel Putrajaya. The main aim for this convention is to discuss the current matter in the Halal industry worldwide so as to strategize the role of Certification Bodies in the current and future industry.
By setting up the new strategy, JAKIM with the collaboration of DagangHalal Berhad took this platform to introduce Halal Verified Engine (HVE). HVE is the new innovation aimed to help the Halal Industry to steps further where the 3 keys of Halal Industry; Certification Bodies, Halal Applicants/Holders and Public are set to be in one platform.
The 4th Halal Certification Bodies Convention was officiated by YB Mejar General Dato’ Seri Jamil Khir Bin Haji Baharom (B) on 14th of September 2012.
59 representatives from various countries took part in this Convention.
