Background
Malaysia Halal Certification Seminar 2014 was held in cooperation with Halal Hub Division JAKIM on 21 May 2014 at RHR Hotel at Univeristi Tenaga Nastional (Uniten), Bangi. Started at 8.00am, the objective of this seminar is to give exposure to updated issues on Halal certificates and also to introduce MYeHALAL and Halal Verified Engine (HVE) to all Halal Certificate holders in Malaysia.
MYeHALAL is a rebranding of the Malaysian Halal certificate management system formerly known as E-Halal that has been used by JAKIM since 2007, while HVE is a support system to MYeHALAL. In order to educate the industry regarding Halal Certificate Application, this event was held to provide solutions to issues faced during the process.
