Event Overview
The first Semarak Syariah Carnival for the year 2013 held in the Masjid Negara, Kuala Lumpur. The carnival was organized by Malaysia Department of Islamic Development (JAWI) and Daganghalal.com as a co-organizer. Semarak Syariah Carnival 2013 was officiated by Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Bhg pembangunan Insan JAKIM, Tuan Haji Razali Bin Shahabudin on 26 April 2013 (Friday).
More than 50 exhibitors from various Agencies, Halal products and Halal service providers took part in this event which started from 26 – 28 April 2013 from 9.00am – 10.00pm at Masjid Negara, Kuala Lumpur.

DagangHalal Booth in Semarak Syariah Carnival 2013.
DagangHalal occupied a 36m2 booth no 25. We organized few activities in our booth to attract visitors. The activities were:
Cepat Jawab ( Quiz )
Gali Logo Halal ( Halal Logo Digging )
Jualan Murah @RM1 (RM1 Sale)
These activities organized to educate public and increase their awareness towards the halal logo which had been standardised by JAKIM nationwide. With the collaboration with Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Per, we also provided the Halal Clinic for the public to enquiry on the process to apply halal certificate using e-Halal system. One of the most attractive activities would be the “Jualan Murah @RM1” where we gave away the Halal products which sponsored by our exhibitors worth of RM30 – RM50 and sold it at RM1. Thanks to our sponsors, Lee Biscuits, Yakult, CCM, Rockey Food, Laras Marketing, Takaful Ikhlas, Cosmoderm, Snek Ku, Al Barakah, Tabung Haji, A&W Sdn Bhd, Denameq and Yayasan Restu .
