At 12 to 14 November 2010, Part Da’wah Islamic Understanding Branch in collaboration with the Community Development Department (Kemas) has successfully entered the Kedah State Course to Understanding and Appreciating Muslim Community Leaders KEMAS Kedah, at the Community Activity Center, Langkawi. A total of 65 participants involved in these courses.
This course was first held in 2010, which comprised participants from among the teachers and supervisors in areas KEMAS throughout the State of Kedah. This course aims to enhance understanding and appreciation of Islam to strengthen the Islamic faith and morals of the course participants and to produce a generation of knowledgeable and responsible for themselves, families, communities and nations as a leader in the community. Between fill this course is the presentation of a paper entitled, Integration mass Ain and mass Kifayah A claim for Excellence Ummah, Work As Worship and the Protocol and Civility in the life set out by 3 experienced speakers.
There are 3 slots talk on “Work as Worship” delivered by. Ustaz Zakaria Bin Othman, Special Assistant to the Director General of Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM). 2 more lectures delivered by. Ustaz Ismail Bin Md Nor of Langkawi District Office of Religious and En. Mokhtar Bin Mohd Tohar of Habiumi Resource.
The opening ceremony of the closing and certificate presentation to course participants have been executed by. Ustaz Zakaria Bin Othman, Special Assistant to the Director General of Department of Islamic Development Malaysia. Also present were Y. Bhg. Ustaz Hj. Kamarudin bin Hj. Mohd Toha as the course coordinator and Ustaz Khirulnizam Bin Khalid as captains during the course was held.
