Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Wednesday, July 6, 2011: As part of its expansion plan, Al Farooj Fresh, a fast-casual restaurant chain in UAE, has signed an agreement with Al-Amin Holdings, a UK-based business group, awarding them the franchise rights for opening up six Al Farooj outlets in the UAE.
Al-Amin Holdings, established in 2001, specialises in catering services and real estate development. The company has signed a formal agreement to have the franchise, and is successfully running three Al Farooj outlets in UAE. The 1st franchised outlet is in Emirates Co-operative Society hypermarket in Twar, Dubai, two in Wasit near Sharjah airport and at Emarat petrol station in Al Fisht on Sharjah conrniche. Al-Amin Holdings will soon open the 4th branch in Swihat, Sharjah.
Al Farooj Fresh, owned by Al Islami Foods group, now has been expanded to total of 31 branches in UAE and Lebanon. In Addition, Al Farooj plans to open 10 more stores in and outside the UAE by the end of 2011, including a new branch in Kuwait which has been planned to open during the 3rd quarter of 2011.

Al Farooj franchise model is based on return-on-investment. The company offers a customized business opportunity with assistance on site selection, preparing feasibility study, break-even analysis, brand concept, design and drawings, outlet architectural and construction requirements, staffing, training, product quality checks, provision of recipe from Al Farooj corporate commissary, operating manual, re-franchising option, assistance on business development plan and direct management option.
