BEIJING, AUG 13 (APP): China (Ningxia) International Trade and Investment will hold Summit of International Cooperation on Halal Industry in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hu Autonomous Region from August 18.The summit of International Cooperation in Halal Industry is part of China International Trade and Investment Fair being sponsored by Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the People’s Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
The annual event provides a major platform for the traders of Halal food and Muslim commodities to have business matching meetings.
The organizers have arranged on the occasion the Economic Development and Cooperation Forum of Hui (Chinese Muslim) Merchants and a symposium on Economic Cooperation between Ningxia and Arabic countries, beside summit of International Cooperation on Halal Industry.
The global market value for trade in Halal food and products is estimated at USD 2.1 trillion a year.
With a 20 million Muslim population and a 1200 year history of Halal food production, it has been a lifestyle in China as well as integral part of Chinese culture.
The Fair will present the world exhibitors and visitors China’s manufacturing edge of Halal food industry and its huge demand for Halal-certified products and services.
The fair is not only a showcase of exhibitors, but also a platform between sellers and buyers, manufacturers and brands, technology and investment.
Seminars, matchmaking business meetings and other valued-added business events will be held on 4-day exhibition.
