KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 (Bernama) — Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd is aiming for RM1 billion sales next year compared with its 2010 target of RM500 million.
Unveiling this Tuesday, Senior Manager Siti Hayu Datuk Ramly said the company produced two million burgers a day which contributed about 50 per cent to total sales.
“Ramly which currently has 32 meat and seafood products, will introduce five chicken-based products in September,” she told reporters at the launch of cooking programme “Enak Bersama Ramly dari Chef Liza”.
The programme will be aired by Bernama TV on Astro’s Channel 502 every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 6pm from Aug 13 to Sept 10.
Ramly, started by Datuk Ramly Mokni in 1984, has penetrated other Asian markets like Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines. It is now drawing up plans to expand the export market.
The company also has seven outlets known as Ramly Halalmart and plans to open 13 more by year-end.
