KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 (Bernama)– MISC Integrated Logistics Sdn Bhd (MILS), has been named by Frost and Sullivan as the Domestic Logistics Service Provider (LSP) of the Year 2009 (Malaysia).
The recognition came at the 2009 Frost and Sullivan Asia Pacific Transportation and Logistic Awards ceremony held in Singapore on July 23.
MILS Business Solutions and Development Senior Manager Ahmad Khan Illadad Khan said the annual award recognised outstanding performance by companies in the transportation and logistics industry in the Asia Pacific Region.
“This award is a reflection of the hard work that has been put into MILS, especially by the staff,” he said in a statement here Monday.
Ahmad Khan also said the award reflected the industry’s recognition of the company’s quality business performance and customer services.
MILS is the logistics arm of international shipping line, MISC Berhad, and amongst its offerings are the innovative Halal logistics services.
