In 2020, Muslims made up 25 percent of the world’s population, according to the futurologists at A.T. Kearney. This leads to an increased consumption of halal products. The food, travel, fashion, media, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries will benefit from this.
This year, the global halal market is worth 2.5 trillion US dollars for the first time, as multinational companies increasingly rely on halal products. Thus, the range of halal fashion and cosmetics will continue to grow.
