The five-star InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong announced this week that it has stepped up its hospitality for Arabic guests with an array of initiatives.
Arabic guests can now speak on-site to guest relations staff of Arabic origins that are with Middle-eastern traditions and customs.
There is also an increased range of Arabic-language entertainment available such as Arabian-language newspapers and in-room TV with networks such as news channel Al Jazeera and Abu Dhabi TV.
Guests will also have easy access to information on prayer rituals at the hotel, with copies of the Quran and information related to prayer times available. Rooms also feature Qibla signs pointing to the direction of the Holy City of Mecca.
Every restaurant in the hotel offers Halal cuisines which are prepared in accordance to Muslim religious rites. Arabic breakfast is available from the hotel’s In Room Dining whilst selected Arabic dishes prepared in Halal manner feature in the in-room dining menu.
InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong General Manager Peter Pollmeier said the hotel would continue in its efforts to make the increasing number of guests from Middle Eastern countries feel at home.
