To help young companies in the food, finance, education and lifestyle sectors get started, Dubai has launched the GoodForce Labs incubator.
The Dubai Freezone Authority (DAFZA) announces the launch of Goodforce Labs. The incubator’s mission is to support small and medium-sized startups so well that they will later be successful in the global halal market, reports Arabian Business. The lab is financed by DAFZA, the Dubai Islamic Economy Development Center and Technolera.
The incubator is primarily intended to promote young companies in the food, finance, education and lifestyle sectors. Currently, the Lab would support Growmada, an e-platform for the sale of handicrafts from developing countries, Waqf 2.0, a cloud-based platform for the management of ethical foundations, and Rabia Z, which designs Islamic fashion for women.
