Japan Management Association (JMA, Chairman: Masami Nakamura) and four organizations will host FOODEX JAPAN 2017, Asia’s largest food and beverage trade show, taking place over four days from March 7–10, 2017 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City.
As the largest food and beverage trade show in Asia, FOODEX JAPAN is dedicated to showcasing the latest food and beverage trends from across Japan and the globe. This year marks the 42nd edition of FOODEX JAPAN with the highest ever number of exhibitors, including food and beverage manufacturers and trading companies representing some 80 countries and regions. Over the course of four days, FOODEX JAPAN expects some 77,000 buyers from food service, distribution, and trading companies to converge on the exhibition halls.
Large numbers of Japanese and international buyers come to FOODEX JAPAN every year to do business with exhibiting manufacturers. The theme of this year’s show is Washoku, which is on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage List. FOODEX JAPAN 2017 will actively showcase the latest food trends of 2017 through exhibits, seminars, and grand prix presentations. Highlights include the Kanpai Japan and Otsumami Japan zones showcasing Japanese food culture for the rest of the world, and the Organic & Wellness zone showcasing products for beauty and health.
