Al Islami Foods Participates In Region’s First Dubai Islamic Peace Convention

Al Islami Foods, the leading halal food company in the Middle East, has announced its participation in the region’s first international Islamic exhibition, which will be held in Dubai from 18th-20th March 2010. The three-day show will run alongside the Dubai International Peace Convention (DIPC) at Dubai Airport Expo.

Al Islami will be participating in the event to highlight the latest industry trends and key issues to raise awareness of the halal food global megatrend. The global halal food business has been valued at US$580 billion* meeting the demands of 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide, and a growing number of non-Muslims, who are also embracing halal products as part of a healthier lifestyle.

“The peace convention is a great initiative to spread the messages of the universality of Islam on a global scale. Organised by Al Manar Quran Study Centre, in partnership with Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department of Dubai, the event will highlight the humanitarian efforts of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
